To proceed with DNA Immigration Testing, please follow these steps:

» Step 1: Submit a copy of your IRCC or CPC letter to our laboratory

Please scan a copy of the IRCC or CPC letter that you have received requesting DNA testing and send it to us by email at immigration@genetrackcanada.com or by fax at 1-888-655-8877. We would also require the following information:

  1. The full legal name for each participant
  2. The date of birth for each participant
  3. The contact phone number for each participant
  4. The mailing address for each participant
  5. Where are the parties located? (in Canada or Oversea or both?)

The letter can be sent to us by email at immigration@genetrackcanada.com or by fax at 1-888-655-8877.

»Step 2: Approve testing

After receiving your letter, a file will be created for you and we will notify you of the cost for DNA testing for your case. The cost will cover the lab appointment fees in Canada, international shipping for samples overseas, testing of the samples and a report to yourself and a report directly to IRCC or CPC. Our reports are officially recognized by IRCC and CPC as proof of relationship. It does not cover any doctor’s fees that you family may need to pay overseas to the doctor for the overseas collection (approximately $50 CAD).

After an order has been placed and payment made, we will arrange sample collection for all of your family members at their respective locations. We will also arrange all overseas sample collections if any of your family members are overseas (outside of Canada).

» Step 3: Receive results

DNA testing begins immediately once all the samples have been received at our laboratory and the DNA test is completed within 3 to 5 business days. Once testing is completed, one official copy of the results will be send directly to you (the client) and a second official copy is sent directly from our laboratory to IRCC or CPC as proof of relationship for your case.
